Unica change-giver coin mechanism was entirely designed and made in Italy, but thanks to its high-precision technology and the vast database of coins it is perfectly compatible with many currencies other than the Euro.

The tube box is locked by a patented electromagnet system to prevent unauthorised opening. When the box is opened using a key or password, this is recorded in a non-modifiable log which can be checked later.

Additional security features include detailed information about coin and cashless transactions, operator codes to enter the programming menu and blacklist of lost or stolen cashless media.
